What to add to your trolley:

  • 4 Kassler Chops 
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil 
  • 2 tbsp Honey 
  • 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard 
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced 
  • 1 tsp smoked Paprika 
  • 1 tsp dried Thyme 
  • Salt and Black Pepper (to taste) 
  • 500g Roast Veg mix 
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil 
  • Salt and Black Pepper (to taste) 
  • 1 tsp dried Italian Herb

How to prepare the deliciousness:


1. Prepare the vegetables:

Preheat the Oven. Toss the Roast Veg Mix in olive oil, salt, black pepper, and Italian herbs. Spread the vegetables on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Roast for 20-25 minutes or until tender and slightly caramelised.

2. Prepare the Kassler Chops:

In a small bowl, mix olive oil, honey, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, smoked paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper to make the glaze. Brush the glaze generously over both sides of the Kassler chops.

3. Cook the Chops:

Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the Kassler chops for 2-3 minutes per side until they develop a golden glaze and are heated through (Kassler chops are pre-cooked). Optional: Place the chops in the oven with the vegetables for the last 5 minutes to ensure everything is warm and flavours meld.

4. Serve:

Plate the Kassler chops with the roasted vegetables. Drizzle any leftover glaze from the pan over the chops for extra flavour.
